School is open tomorrow, 9/3!

Dear Brayton Parents,
Whoever said lightning doesn’t strike twice? Or maybe that only applies to lightning and not flooding!
So we had some water in both the gym wing and link wing of our building.  As a result, four classes will need to be relocated for a bit until clean up is complete.
Mr. Miller is moving to the Creativity Room in the old building.   Ms. Lepore and Mr. Wisbeski, second grade, are moving to the music rooms, and Mr. Gannon, second grade, will be in the gym.  The main office, my office and the nurse’s office are also being relocated.
Because of the amazing work of our school and district custodians,
WE WILL BE OPEN TOMORROW FOR A REGULAR DAY.
We are hoping that we can get the second grades back in their room as early as next Wednesday.  3rd grade and the offices may take a little longer.
Special appreciation goes to our amazing parent volunteers who showed up at school to help us box books off of the library shelving — they were better than the professionals!
We have always met challenges together as a team — students, staff and parents.  These days will be no exception.
I look forward to seeing all of our students tomorrow.  Hope that you and your families are all well and safe.
Best,
Cheryl
