Welcome Back, Brayton Bobcats!

Welcome to another exciting school year at Brayton Elementary! We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and is feeling ready for a year filled with learning, friendship, and lots of fun. We are so excited to welcome everyone back and look forward to all that this year has in store.

On that note - to celebrate the end of summer and first day of school, the PTO will be handing out popsicles at pickup on Tuesday 9/8 at 3pm at the various dismissal doors.

Save the Dates

Welcome Back Party — September 11 | 5:30–7:30 PM

Come celebrate the start of the school year with us. There will be a pizza and ice-cream truck - and a special guest DJ. It’s a great chance for the kids and their families to have fun and reconnect with friends.

Back to School Night — September 16 | 6:30 PM

This is a great opportunity to see the school, meet your child’s teachers, and learn more about the curriculum. We hope to see you there!

Brayton Bash Evites will be coming your way this week! In the meantime, be sure to reference the dates listed in the Brayton Blast. These events are such a fun way to get to know other Brayton parents, make new friends, and celebrate the start of another school year.

Get Involved with the PTO

One of the easiest and most important ways to support Brayton is by paying your PTO membership dues through Membership Toolkit. Our suggested contribution is $50 per family, but any amount you’re comfortable giving is greatly appreciated. And if you’re able to give a little more, we’re so grateful for the extra support!

These dues are incredibly important because they allow the PTO to fund the many initiatives, programs, and activities highlighted on the back of this page throughout the school year — the things that make the Brayton experience extra special for our kids.

And don’t forget to check with your employer about corporate matching! Many companies will match charitable contributions, so your donation could go even further.

While you’re in Membership Toolkit, please make sure to opt into the directory. It’s a great resource for connecting with other Brayton families. It also allows the PTO and class parents to communicate with you throughout the year.

And keep an eye out for lots of opportunities to get involved over the next few weeks! Sign-ups will be coming for class parent volunteers, Disc Golf, library volunteers, Art in the Classroom, and more. There are plenty of ways to participate — whether you have lots of time or just a little!

Communication

We will be sending weekly Brayton Blast emails to keep everyone in the loop for upcoming events and opportunities. In order to receive these you must opt into the directory in Membership Toolkit (see QR code below). We also encourage you to follow our instagram @BraytonPTO and to visit our website braytonschoolpto.com for additional updates and information.
