An evening event in May that offers a chance for students to share their classrooms, artwork and school work with parents and siblings. Students also have the opportunity to visit next year’s classrooms. The committee’s main responsibility is the Art Show in the gym that night.
Chairpersons (1-2 people) responsibilities:
- Liaison with school staff (janitorial, office)
- Work with art teacher to secure all artwork for show and help create the display
- Manage volunteers
- Manage event publicity through flyers, website, and Weekly Bulletins
Committee responsibilities (3 separate occasions):
- Mount and label artwork
- Display artwork in the gym for the Art Show
- Help take down and organize artwork for return to students
