April 30: Deadline to order yearbook with customized pages
Thank you Amy McDevitt and Nina Meiler, co-chairs of the Harlem Wizards, for planning such a fun day out for the Summit Community! The Wizards is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we are so grateful for your time and dedication to making this day a huge success! Thank you to all the parent and 8th grade volunteers, those that donated concession items, and our teachers and parents who played against the Wizards - we could not do it without your help!

Stuffed Animal Drive This Week!
This week, the 5 elementary schools will be hosting a used stuffed animal drive!
Please bring your unwanted stuffed animals and place them in the bins located in the front lobby. (Parents can stop by anytime, or send with your child.)
Did you know: With the help of the NEW HELPSY BINS located at the Summit Transfer Station we can remove unwanted plush toys from the waste stream! The HELPSY bins are there year-round and take clothes, shoes, backpacks AND stuffies!
On April 11th I’ll be taking the stuffed animals to the HELPSY bins at the transfer station.
Volunteer to celebrate Earth Day by teaching a lesson in the classroom!
Let's help our kids celebrate EARTH DAY on Friday, April 25th!
We are seeking parent volunteers to teach a pre-written lesson on Friday 4/25! Register here for a volunteer slot.
A full lesson plan and Google slideshow will be provided for each grade - no prep work necessary! This is a great opportunity to get involved and teach our kids how to make a big difference. Please consider signing up to help create a better world for our kids.
