Brayton Presents: Into the Woods JR! Get your tickets now!

Brayton Elementary School and the Brayton School PTO present Into The Woods Jr, a new take on Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s groundbreaking musical fairytale about wishes and the choices we make.

Be careful what you wish for, as a cockeyed fairytale comes to life in this adaptation of Sondheim and Lapine's groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical. Into the Woods JR. features all of your favorite characters — Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk) and the Witch — in this lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables.

The musical centers on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse, and wind up changed forever.

Featuring Brayton's 4th and 5th graders in both the cast and the crew!

Taking place on Thursday, March 6 and Friday, March 7 at 7pm at Brayton Elementary School, tickets are on sale NOW for $10 each. Click here for tickets.

Summit Board of Education March Meetings

Join the Board of School Estimate Meeting at Summit High School on Monday, March 3rd for the presentation of the proposed Fiscal Year 2026 Budget. Save the Date for other March meetings.

Grease at LCJSMS

Grease Is the Word for Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School on March 14-15

Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School will present the iconic musical comedy Grease on Friday and Saturday, March 14-15 in the LCJSMS Auditorium.

This school version of the classic musical maintains the fun-loving spirit and memorable songs that made Grease a hit movie and a beloved Broadway musical. Come celebrate joy, friendship, and 1950s rock and roll nostalgia!

Shows are scheduled for Friday 3/14 at 7pm and Saturday 3/15 at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are $15.00 for adults/children 11+ and $13.00 for seniors/children 10 & under and may be purchased at https://cur8.com/projects/lcjsms.At each performance, LCJSMS asks that audience members bring a pair of NEW socks that will be donated to GRACE which supports local Summit residents in need.
