PTO Board Candidate Proposal
The Brayton PTO is excited to propose Julie Murawski, as a candidate for Co-Executive Vice President alongside Jenny Hoff, serving on our 2024-2025 PTO Executive Board. The Executive Board has voted in support of Julie. If anyone opposes the nomination, email president@braytonschoolpto.com by Friday, January 17th.
Physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston explores the vulnerable corners of family life, including her own, to examine the common struggles we face over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. We hope this movie can be a resource for those who are on the cusp of purchasing a phone for their child or if your child is already asking for one. Children are welcome to attend the screening with an adult. We recommend 4th grade and up.

Calling all 4th and 5th Graders! Come learn stage dancing techniques from Summit High School Theatre Arts choreographer, dance captains, and cast members of the upcoming SHS musical The Prom!
For more information and to register, click here. Registration is limited and ends on January 31.
A contemporary show based on true events, The Prom is a hilarious, heartwarming musical that celebrates individuality, acceptance, and the power of love. The story follows Emma, a high school student who incites controversy in her small Indiana town when she tries to take her girlfriend to the school prom. Her story attracts both the attention of the media and of four eccentric out-of-work Broadway actors who decide to rally around Emma’s cause in the hopes of getting back into the spotlight. As they work to give Emma the prom she deserves, they ultimately learn valuable lessons about selflessness and empathy – and so does the entire community.
This lively musical is filled with big, exciting dance numbers, moving ballads and the uplifting, timely message that everyone deserves to be loved. Tickets go on sale on January 22 at www.cur8.com/projects/hilltopper
