The PTO would like to thank Jenn Cronin and Towee Bull for generously hosting the 3rd grade bash this weekend. We would also like to thank everyone who came out to support the Hurricane Relief Bake Sale - nearly $600 was raised to support those in need!

This year’s Brayton Musical is…

The musical committee is thrilled to announce that this year's 4th and 5th grade spring musical will be Into the Woods Jr! We can't wait to put on such a fun show. More information and signup forms will be shared in mid-November alongside After School Enrichment registration, so please stay tuned!

Brayton Fall Fest! - Buy Tickets Now!

Brayton Fall Fest is Saturday, November 16 from 12pm-3pm! It is a fun family afternoon with inflatables, carnival games, amazing raffle items and more! Buy admission tickets October 13 through November 11 for early bird pricing: $25 per family.

Fall Fest is one of the PTO's biggest fundraisers for the year, so we will need help from our Brayton families to ensure it is a success. Here are some ways you can contribute:

Fall Fest Volunteers: There are plenty of opportunities to get involved! Please take a moment to check out the Sign-Up Genius to take a shift at the event and/or help prepare and run the raffle!

Fall Fest Raffle Donations: Items can be purchased directly from our Amazon Wish List (either by single families or groups of friends and neighbors!) You can also make a custom monetary donation that will be pulled together to purchase larger denomination items for the raffle. CLICK HERE to make a donation (ticket purchase is not necessary to make donations). Have an idea for a raffle basket you would like to donate? We welcome them! Please contact fallfest@braytonschoolpto.com.

Ticket Donations: In the past, tickets for live sporting events, concerts or holiday events have been very successful in our raffle. Please contact our raffle chair, Amanda Darnowski (fallfest@braytonschoolpto.com) if you or your employer would be willing to donate tickets.

We truly appreciate your donations and generosity. Thank you for all of your support in helping to make this event a success!

Brayton Cares donations for BRIDGES requested

Once again, Brayton Cares has partnered with Bridges Outreach to collect and assemble cold weather kits for the homeless.

FINAL CALL FOR DONATIONS! Collection ends Wednesday, October 23rd.

Each grade has been assigned a particular item to donate:

1st Grade: Hand Warmers

2nd Grade: Foot Warmers

3rd Grade: Chapstick

4th Grade: Mylar/Solar Blanket

5th Grade: Adult Socks

Help us collect as many of these items as possible so that we can assemble as many kits as possible with a goal of providing Bridges with 200 kits!

The grade with the most amount of donations will win a PJ day on Friday, October 25th!

There are collection bins outside of each grade level classroom. Please send your child to school with as many items as you are able to before the deadline.

The packing event will be held on Thursday, October 24 from 3-4pm in the Brayton Library. Registration for this event is now CLOSED. Thanks to everyone who volunteered to help assemble the donations into kits that can be distributed to the homeless. Further details will be provided to those who registered prior to the event.

Author Visit - Mike Dawson

The PTO will be sponsoring a visit from Award Winning Cartoonist and author of The Fifth Quarter, Mike Dawson, on Friday November 15th. Pre-purchase a signed copy of the graphic novel before November 1st! Order forms will be sent home with students but we have included the form below as well. Payment can be made by Venmo or by returning the form with cash to school.

Summit Cross Country Race

Calling all 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders! Get ready to take your mark at the Annual Summit Cross Country Race on November 4! Details below.

PETER PAN AND WENDY COMBAT WORKSHOP

Thursday, October 24, from 5:30 - 7 pm

Calling all 4th and 5th Graders! The Summit High School Theatre Department is teaming up with Cause and Fx from Centenary University to teach a Combat Workshop in the Summit High School Auditorium on Thursday, October 24th from 5:30-7:00 pm. Come learn stage fighting and acting techniques from professionals and members of the high school’s upcoming fall play, Peter Pan and Wendy: A New Old Adventure.
