Kindergarten Registration for Students NEW to Summit Schools

Online registration for students new to Summit Schools who will be entering kindergarten in September 2021 is now available on the district website.  To be eligible for Kindergarten, a child must be five years of age before October 1, 2021.

Parents with students new to Summit Schools will need to register online and make an appointment with the school secretary to bring in residency verification documents on Tuesdays and Thursdays from January 26 – February 9, 2021.  Residency verification will take place at the primary center the child will attend.  If a parent is not sure in which primary center they reside, please call the Summit Board of Education office at (908) 918-2100, ext. 3102.  Appointments for residency verification will be scheduled through the registration portal as the final step of the registration process in order to complete the required paperwork.


The following documentation is needed to complete the registration process.  Please bring these documents to your registration appointment.  Please note:  the medical forms must be completed and submitted to the schools by June 1, 2021.  However, these medical forms may be submitted at the registration appointment if they are completed by that time.

Health History Form (print out from online registration packet)
