Brayton Tutors Volunteers Needed

What is it?
The Brayton Tutor program is an opportunity for Brayton parents and other community members to provide a weekly, volunteer tutoring session to a Brayton student. This is a time for our struggling students to increase academic skills and develop a special relationship with a supportive adult!

How does it work?
The Brayton staff matches up a volunteer tutor with a Brayton student. Then, the tutor and child’s teacher schedule a mutually convenient time for the tutoring session. The teacher provides the tutor with an assignment or activity to be completed during their session (eg. reading a book together, working on math problems, etc.).

What is the time commitment?
30-45 minutes per week, scheduled with the child’s teacher, at Brayton.

Sounds great! Where can I sign up?
Laura Davidkhanian is Brayton PTO’s Parent Tutor Coordinator. Contact information here.

Thank you for your consideration and willingness to make a difference in a child’s life!
